She along with Pete, Hudson and Eqinile are all affected and infected by bug-like creatures that burrow into the necks of those who get close enough. The bugs cause them all to engage in extremely risky behavior and they all arrive in Saunders Gorge in Pete's car and stop at the edge of the cliff and Pete puts the car in reverse and backs up several feet and the car speeds toward and drive over the edge of the cliff and Chloe, Pete, Hudson and Eqinile all cackle, whooping, laugh and scream like Kal'Elu's foster spotted hyena dog mother Queen Jasiri like crazy as the car nosedives straight at the ground. When they are about to hit, Clark and Kal'Elu super speeds to the car and catches it and stands there holding it upright and takes them all to the hospital where they all recover from the bite.
