She is an acclaimed photojournalist who agreed work for the Gotham Globe, with Alexander Knox about his giant bat and a boy with red eyes and red spikey hair with a key-like sword story. While she attempted to uncover the secret of the mysterious Batman and Atem and inadvertently became the object of obsession for the Joker. After defeating the Joker, as Gotham lighted the Batsignal for the first time, Vicki said good-bye to Alexander and Atem. Alfred waited for Vicki, and told her that Master Bruce might be "a little late", in which she replied: "I'm not a bit surprised".
