Spike Jr appears to suffer from extreme hypochondria, having doses of medicine for meals and doctor's appointments frequently and is also selfless as he was willing to sacrifice himself if it meant he could bring back water for everyone else and he offered to become a doctor so that the animals would not have to die when they were injured or sick. He is shown to put others before himself as he practiced dancing in private for Mshenzi's sake despite being scared at first and learnt it completely and near the end of the Tenth Doctor era, he and Meshenzi fall in love and became a couple
