Ayame Misaki, born Tsuzaki Ayame, is a Japanese actress and model. She originally debuted in magazines of gravure and variety shows, then later working as an actress.
The story follows obsessively lovesick schoolgirl Ayano Aishi, nicknamed "Yandere-chan", who takes it upon herself to eliminate (through either violent or non-violent means) anyone she believes attracting the attention of her "senpai", Taro Yamada.
