As the existence of mutants becomes increasingly public, Professor Charles Xavier expands the X-Men including Colossus, alongside Rogue and Gambit as fulltime members. When Xavier and Magneto become aware of two powerful young mutants living in secrecy: Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, each side races to find the twins, recognizing their immense potential and hoping to guide—or weaponize—them. As the X-Men and the Brotherhood clash across the globe, Wanda and Pietro learn the truth of their origins as Magneto’s illegitimate children. Horrified by the manipulation and violence surrounding them, the twins reject both ideologies and flee, choosing independence over allegiance.
