Stranded in the cold vacuum of space, the X-Men's desperate mission to intercept Galactus goes catastrophically wrong. Their ship crashes violently into the Blue Area of the Moon, cutting them off from Earth. Before they can regroup, they are fiercely ambushed by the Inhumans-a secretive, advanced society that gains abilities through the sacred Terrigen Mist. Perfectly synchronized and weaponized by the moon's low gravity, the Inhuman Royal Guard ruthlessly overpowers and captures the X-Men. To ensure their isolation remains absolute, the silent king Black Bolt approaches the wreckage of the X-Men ship. With a single whispered word, his destructive sonic voice completely obliterates the X-Men's ride home. Imprisoned in the depths of Attilan, the X-Men learn the dark truth of their civilization. They discover a rigid, corrupt caste system: those who undergo Terrigenesis and fail to manifest powers are stripped of status and condemned to a life of forced labor in the sub mines. This tyrannical hierarchy directly violates the X-Men's core philosophy of equality and freedom for all. Realizing they cannot peacefully coexist with such oppression, Cyclops orchestrates a synchronized prison break. The escape ignites an explosive, superpower-fueled war across Attilan. The X-Men utilize flawless teamwork to push back the Royal Guard, adapting mid-battle to the moon environment. Just as Black Bolt prepares to intervene and crush the rebellion, Reed Richards arrives in a rescue vessel, tracking the distress signal Charles Xavier sent after their ship crashed. The X-Men narrowly retreat into the ship, evading recapture. As they break orbit, the enigmatic silhouette of Uatu the Watcher looms in the distance, silently observing the shifting ideas of fate. In the ruins of Attilan, a dark council forms. Medusa steps forward, raising a glowing vial of Terrigen Mist, declaring that the time has come for the Inhumans to reclaim their ancestral home: Earth.
