(Played by Kevin Sorbo in the Arrowverse). Lar Gand is the former King of Daxam and the father of Mon-El. Lar Gand and his wife, Queen Rhea, spent years searching for their missing son. Lar Gand and Rhea eventually found their son. Mon-El wanted to stay on Earth, so Lar Gand allowed his son to stay, however, his wife did not share his thoughts; Rhea killed Lar Gand and ordered an invasion of Earth.
