(Played by Tyler Hoechlin in the Arrowverse). Clark Kent was born as Kal-El on the planet Krypton the day it was destroyed. In order to ensure his survival, his parents sent him away on a pod that landed on Earth. Kal-El was adopted by the Kent family. Later on in life, Kal-El, now Clark Kent, became the hero known as Superman and also a reporter for the newspaper known as the Daily Planet.
