One could make the mistake of taking Levent’s last name literally. The 18-year-old newcomer from Munich has never held a violin in his hand but drumsticks he did. The first time when he was just five years old. When he was eight, he sat at the piano for the first time. At the age of ten he learned how to play the saxophone and at twelve he took up the guitar, and has always been singing. “There are old video recordings of me where I was singing and dancing in a diaper as a one-year-old,” recalls Levent. “So somehow it has always been clear that I really enjoy music.” Levent Geiger was born in Munich in 2003. He spent his childhood not only there, but also in Chicago and São Paulo. As the son of a Turkish mother and a German father, he soon speaks five languages, but the most important thing is and remains music. At the age of 9 Levent took part in the “Jugend musiziert” competition for the first time and won several times there. Together with Ilia Antoniadis he also founded a pianoduo that not only records a joint classical album, but soon becomes famous far beyond the borders of Germany and is even touring China. Levent is named one of the best young pianists in Germany at the Steinway Festival in Hamburg and plays the opening actfor Lang Lang. You might think that these are the perfect requirements for a career in classical music. But Levent Geiger not only plays instruments, he also writes his own songs. The first one at the age of ten. In 2015 he reached the finals of the songwriting competition of the television channel KiKA and was on stage with Laith Al-Deen. Four years later he made it to the final show and performed his self-written song “Hottest Girl”together with Nico Santos. “Actually, I wasn’t sure if I really wanted to become a singer/songwriter. But Nico Santos fully believed in me and motivated me to give everything,” remembers Levent. He set up his own music studio in his parents’house, used the “Logic Pro X” productionsoftware and was soon composing the German song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Warsaw. At the same time Levent Geiger gained over a million followers on TikTok within a very short time with cover versions and mashups of well-known songs from 24kGoldn to The Kid LAROI to Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. Levent Geiger switches in short clips from one song to the next and mixes the most diverse styles -from melodic trap to crystal clear pop, smooth R&B interjections or impressive ballads. “I just try out a lot and try not just to play songs, but also to always incorporate my own twist.” A recipe that Levent Geiger no longer only uses for covers of well-known tracks, but also for his self-written songs. With “Look At Me Now” the first single of the multi-talented newcomer is now being released via Sony/RCA.

The Battle of Britain and the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941. For Europe, everything looked hopeless because the Nazis occupied almost all of Europe. But then the Battle of Staligrad came and the war turned. The Soviets had defended Moscow, and after the Battle of Kursk it was clear that the eastern front was lost to the for Germans. In 1944, the Western Front was open. Allied forces made a successful landing in Normandy. The Americans, Soviets, British, and other allies gradually liberated Europe from the German occupiers, revealing their heinous crimes. In the end, the last decisive battle for Berlin took place, and Nazi Germany was defeated, ending World War II in Europe.
