Sterling Kelby Brown (born April 5, 1976) is an American actor. Known for his leading roles on stage and screen, he has received numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a nomination for an Academy Award. He was included in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. Brown portrayed Christopher Darden in the FXlimited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016), which earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. For his role as Randall Pearson in the NBC drama series This Is Us (2016–2022), he earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He was further Emmy-nominated for his comedic roles in the Fox Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2018) and the Amazon Prime comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019). For his role in American Fiction (2023), he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Brown is also known for his leading roles in films such as Hotel Artemis (2019), Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. (2022), and Biosphere (2023) as well as supporting roles in Marshall (2017), Black Panther (2018), and Waves (2019). Three years ago, Batman and Superman met in a Penguin attack on a Wayne Companies event covered by the Daily Planet. In the present, Superman deals with the repercussions of his fight against Zod, Lex Luthor public campaign against him and the problems in his relationship with Lois, while investigating the billionaire. Bruce, who has been acting as Batman for more or less a decade, investigates, together with Robin (Jason Todd), Luthor's business in Gotham, arriving at a supposed abandoned warehouse, which turns out to be a secret laboratory belonging to Professor Ivo, finding his latest invention, the android Amazo. Frustrated with the way Luthor treats him, Ivo uses Amazo to attack him and show that he is superior, sending Amazo to LexCorp in Metropolis, which USA ends up involving Superman in the situation, who despite his dislike for Luthor, would not let anyone be hurt. However, things get complicated when Amazo proves to be capable of copying other people's skills, copying the hero's power. Batman and Superman join forces to face the android, which proves to be a much greater threat than imagined, even for its creator.
