Fan Casting Sophie Hatter in World of Howl

Sophie Hatter, is the eldest of three at 18. One day the Witch of the Waste, mistaking Sophie for competition, turns her into an old woman. Sophie becomes a cleaning lady in Howl's castle hoping that he might be able to lift the curse. Though initially reserved and lacking confidence, she demonstrates herself to be a strong-minded individual as an old woman, becoming less afraid of what others think of her. Sophie is dutiful, kind, and considerate, has a tendency to be impulsive and often feels guilty when she does something wrong, and can be temperamental and argumentative. She possesses strong magic of her own, though she is initially unaware of her abilities.
