When Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, first told her people of her plan to ask the gods for a daughter, not all rejoiced. Four Amazons, naming themselves The Circle, see the child as a portent of doom & attempt to kill the Queen. They fail & are imprisoned.
Years later, The Circle have escaped from Themyscira, entering Man's World to find & destroy Diana. Against four of her most deadly sisters, Diana's only ally is Hawkwoman, who she must learn to trust if she has any hope of survival.
