Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is an American actor and filmmaker. Known for both his comedic and dramatic roles, Hanks is one of the most popular and recognizable film stars worldwide, and is widely regarded as an American cultural icon. Hanks made his breakthrough with leading roles in the comedies Splash (1984) and Big (1988). He won two consecutive Academy Awards for Best Actor for starring as a gay lawyer suffering from AIDS in Philadelphia (1993) and a young man with below-average IQ in Forrest Gump (1994). Hanks collaborated with film director Steven Spielberg on five films: Saving Private Ryan (1998), Catch Me If You Can (2002), The Terminal (2004), Bridge of Spies (2015), and The Post (2017), as well as the 2001 miniseries Band of Brothers, which launched him as a director, producer, and screenwriter. In the present day, Wonder Woman after serving for WWII is in a moment of self-doubt. She realizes the problems of today’s modern society. Despite her prestine global reputation and iconic stature, she struggles to discover the truth behind who she is and what she represents. Even worse, Diana’s friend and archaeologist, Dr. Barbara Minvera covets to steal the Lasso of Truth hoping to add it to her collection of historical items. To do so, she tricks Diana claiming that there is a matching ancient Golden Girdle of Gaea of the same kind from which the lasso was fashioned. Although the scheme proceeds far enough for Minerva to hold the lasso, its magical power to make people tell the truth forces her to confess her true intentions. Diana, profoundly distraught that she would be so treacherous, takes back the lasso and returns home in tears. With the subtle approach having failed, Minerva resorts to attacking the Amazon as the Cheetah to rob her of the lasso. When Wonder Woman realizes that Cheetah is gonna attack the Amazons and steal the lasso again, she has to protect Theymscira and uncover the truth behind who she is and what she represents…
