At Themyscira, the island of the amazons, Circe's trial is interrupted when a US military jet falls from the sky to the island. The Amazons capture the two pilots, sgt Steve Trevor and Barbara Ann Minerva. Circe is banished and decides to take revenge on queen Hippollyta, princes Diana and the rest of Themyscira
