Wonder Woman (DCU)

As Themyscira's ambassador to the world, Wonder Woman balances diplomacy, humanitarian work, and protecting humanity while holding firmly to the Amazon belief that compassion should come before violence. Her life changes when a mysterious young woman named Donna Troy invokes the ancient Hecatea, forcing Diana to become her protector. When the powerful witch Circe and the forces of Olympus begin hunting Donna, Diana discovers that the young woman is actually Troia, a second clay-born champion created by the Titans to oppose the gods should Zeus ever become a tyrant. After Zeus captures Donna and sentences her to death for the murder of Hercules, Diana reluctantly joins forces with Circe and journeys through the mythological realms to rescue her. Their alliance eventually fractures when Circe attempts to assassinate Zeus, leaving Diana trapped in the deadly Labyrinth and forced to question whether her belief in compassion is truly enough. Guided to safety by the very Minotaur she once spared, Diana rediscovers her faith in kindness and confronts Zeus on Olympus. Even after Donna frees her from the Hecatea, Diana chooses to protect her—not because she is bound by an oath, but because she believes it is the right thing to do. Alongside Donna, Diana withstands Zeus's overwhelming power until he finally agrees to end his pursuit of Troia. Three days later, Donna begins a new life alongside Diana, while the reformed Minotaur becomes the embassy's chef. But their victory is short-lived when Ares reveals that he secretly orchestrated the conflict, setting the stage for a much greater battle to come.
