In present-day Paris, Wonder Woman and Donna Troy stop a terrorist attack near the Louvre. Donna’s bravery impresses the public, but her recklessness worries Diana. As news coverage highlights Superman’s growing impact on the world, Diana reflects on her own journey. During World War II, pilot Steve Trevor crashes near Themyscira, bringing news of a devastating global conflict. Believing she can help end the suffering, Diana leaves her homeland despite Hippolyta’s objections and joins the Justice Society of America. Fighting alongside Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Wildcat, Hourman, Starman, and Sandman, she becomes a symbol of hope across the war-torn world. As Diana bonds with Steve and her fellow heroes, Doctor Fate warns that an ancient darkness is fueling humanity’s hatred. Convinced Ares is responsible, Diana seeks the God of War, believing his defeat will end the conflict. Steve helps her understand that humanity is capable of both great cruelty and great compassion, and that people must choose their own destiny. Ares eventually reveals himself and tries to prove mankind is beyond redemption. During their climactic battle, Steve sacrifices himself to save millions. Inspired by his selflessness, Diana rejects Ares’ cynicism and defeats him. The war ends, the Justice Society gradually fades from public life, and Diana spends decades continuing her mission in secret. Back in Paris, Donna asks why she never stopped fighting. Diana smiles and replies, “Because every generation deserves heroes.” Post-Credits: On Themyscira, Donna completes a combat trial. Phillipus tells her, “The world is changing.” Donna smiles and answers, “Then maybe it’s time I change with it.”
