Mikhail Nikolaevich Baryshnikov (born January 27, 1948) is a Soviet-born Russian American dancer, choreographer, and actor, often cited alongside Vaslav Nijinsky and Rudolf Nureyev as one of the greatest ballet dancers of the 20th century. After a promising start in the Kirov Ballet in Leningrad, he defected to Canada in 1974 for more opportunities in western dance. After freelancing with many companies, he joined the New York City Ballet as a principal dancer to learn George Balanchine's style of movement. He then moved to New York to dance with the American Ballet Theatre, where he later became artistic director. Baryshnikov has spearheaded many of his own artistic projects and has been associated in particular with promoting modern dance, premiering dozens of new works, including many of his own. His success as a dramatic actor on stage, cinema and television has helped him become probably the most widely recognized contemporary ballet dancer. In 1977, he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and a Golden Globe nomination for his work as "Yuri Kopeikine" in the film The Turning Point.

Logan, a man with no memory of his past, escapes the brutal Weapon X program, a covert government operation that has experimented on him, embedding adamantium in his bones and claws. As he runs from his tormentors, Logan finds himself hunted by both Sabretooth, a deadly enemy with a personal vendetta, and Omega Red, a Soviet super-soldier with lethal carbonadium coils. Each encounter forces Logan to confront his violent past, though he struggles with the fractured pieces of his memory. During a vicious battle, Logan discovers fragments of his former life—his lost love, the betrayal he endured, and the dark history that shaped him. As the conflict escalates, Logan becomes determined to uncover the truth about the Weapon X program, even as the people he meets—some friend, some foe—further blur the lines between right and wrong. In the final showdown, Logan defeats his enemies, though his journey for self-discovery has only just begun. In the end, his haunted past remains, but his future now calls for a different purpose: one he must figure out for himself. Post Credits: In a remote location, Charles Xavier locates Logan, who is struggling with his past. Xavier approaches, offering guidance. “You’ve been through hell. Let’s find your purpose.”
