Witch on the Holy Night is a visual novel game created by TYPE-MOON. It takes place in the same universe as Fate/stay night. The game was originally released in 2012 on PC’s. The game was then remade with voice acting for console in 2022. To many fans' surprise Witch on the Holy Night became the first TYPE-MOON visual novel to receive a western localization. Aoko Aozaki is a young mage who is burdened with being the family successor as the family mage. Because of this Aoko moves into the Kuonji Mansion and begins to learn magecraft from the young magus Alice Kuonji. Meanwhile strange forces seem to be working against them across Misaki town.
