Besides being adopted and knowing nothing of where she came from, Bloom thought she was just like every other regular teenage girl living in the small town of Gardenia, until she witnesses an unexplainable supernatural event involving a fairy named Stella, leading Bloom to discover she is actually from a magical realm filled with fairies, witches, monsters, demons and far more. Recognizing she has great potential, headmistress Faragonda invites Bloom to attend Alfea, the Elite school for Fairies. There, she forms bonds with other fairies who all have unique powers of their own and creates a sisterhood known as The Winx. Through magical trials, competitions and obstacles with competing schools, including the likes of Cloud Tower, school of witchcraft, and Red Fountain the most prestigious institution of education for training Specialists, protectors of the Realm, Bloom learns more about the source of her growing powers. With 3 power hungry witches on The Winx's tails known infamously through the school district as The Trix, Bloom questions what it is exactly these three malicious girls know about her that she does not, and how her mysterious and unknown past could be connected to the magical Realm.
