David Leonard Landau (June 22, 1947 – December 4, 2020) was an American actor and writer. He was known for Laverne & Shirley (1976), Used Cars (1980), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).
Eddie Valiant is a private detective, who's down on his luck. When Valiant gets hired by producer, R.K. Marroon, to investigate the scandal of Roger Rabbit's wife, Jessica, she allegedly is involved with Marvin Acme's will on Toontown.
