Elita One (also Elita-One or Elita-1) is a devoted Autobot and powerful warrior, fearless in the face of the enemy, but compassionate to those who need her help. Where most of the Autobots left Cybertron aboard the Ark, led by her counterpart Optimus Prime, Elita One remained behind, leading a team of commandos in waging a guerilla war against the planet's Decepticon occupiers. Though the realities of war can lead her to make hard, even ruthless, choices—something reflected in her intimidating paintjob, the color of energon—she never forgets the ideals of the cause that she fights for. In some tellings, she was the simple manual laborer Ariel before she was rebuilt by Alpha Trion, granting her a great special power: the ability to stop time through the creation of a field with a fifty-foot radius around her. Sadly, this ability drains all of her life force and is thus almost assuredly fatal, leaving her to only use it in the most dire of situations.
