Carl and Frank are supporting antagonists in Blue Sky Studios' first feature film Ice Age, the first installment of the franchise of the same name. Carl was voiced by Cedric the Entertainer and Frank was voiced by Stephen Root, who also played Unity and Reverend Amos Howell in Superman: The Animated Series, Mr. Fyde/Avacadwoe in The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, Mildew in Dreamworks Dragons, Buck Strickland in King of the Hill, Junjie in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Martin Mertens in Adventure Time, and Grampa in Dog Man.
