Joseph "Joe" Swanson is a character in the animated television series Family Guy. He is friends with other main characters, Peter Griffin, Cleveland Brown and Glenn Quagmire. Joe is in a wheelchair because a criminal shot him in both legs. He is married to Bonnie Swanson.
