João Gabriel Marinho is an upcoming Brazilian actor. Born and raised in the city of Rio de Janeiro, João has always lived next to the beach - thus explaining his passion for the sea, surfing and nature. His taste for art has also been present since very early: films and music were his companions in the difficult and solitary moments. At the age of eight, João was already learning how to play the drums and putting on shows for his family. Art was his way of expressing himself, even when he still didn't know what he wanted to be and do in life. In 2019, João won the role that would change his career, as main actor of the upcoming season of Malhação (Emmy award winning series), produced by Rede Globo. The project, however, was canceled due to the Corona virus pandemic.
