Kawaki (カワキ) is the deuteragonist of the Boruto anime/manga series. He was raisded by the Kara organization to be the future vessel of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki as the key to their future fulfilment to their greatest wish. Later after being brought to Konohagakure by Team 7, he's taken in by Naruto Uzumaki, later adopting him as his own. He would ultimately develop a bound with his new family, especially with Boruto while working with him to solve the mystery of the Kāma. However, his love for Naruto and hatred to the Ōtsutsuki clan drove him enviously mad, as he seals his adoptive parents away against their will and frames Boruto by effectively switching lives with him, but it doesn't make it better.
