First appeared in Swamp Thing #1 in 1972 and was created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. Matthew "Matt" Cable was an agent for Defense Department Intelligence and a friend of Alec Holland. After his death, he was resurrected by Dream of the Endless as a raven.
