Peter would have made his first appearance in Civil War just like in the original film, except he would have worn the Iron Spider suit and would have left Iron Man's side at the end, creating his own homemade suit (similar to Romita's) and separating from the Avengers to become just the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. In Homecoming, he would be interested in Liz, though this would create a love triangle between him, Liz, and Betty. At the end of Homecoming, he would graduate.
