This is the first season of the Ninth Doctor's tenure. He meets his new companion, Janet Wells, while trying to defeat the Master in his first serial. The serial count goes from 7 to 8. The stories this season include: Revenge of the Master, The English Way of Death, The Time Ravagers, Heaven and Earth, Trial by Fire, The Well, Paradise Lost, and Resurrection of the Autons.
