Condiment King is a peculiar condiment-obsessed super-villain and a very minor enemy to Batman. He originally appeared as Buddy Standler, a stand-up comedian brainwashed by the Joker into committing crimes (along with several other Gothamites) and pitted against Batman in the DCAU. He commits crimes using guns that shoot different condiments, and uses matching puns. This character was introduced in the regular DC Universe as Mitchell Mayo.
Condiment King was created as Buddy Standler by Paul Dini and Randy Rogel, first appearing in the Batman episode Make 'Em Laugh (1994).
He was adapted into the regular DC Universe as Mitchell Mayo by Chuck Dixon and Marcos Martin in Birds of Prey #37 (2002).
