Sir Grimsby is a fictional supporting character of Disney's 1989 animated feature film and 2023 live-action remake, The Little Mermaid. He is the faithful guardian, confident advisor, and chancellor of Prince Eric, who sometimes calls him "Grim" for short.
Grimsby has been pressuring Eric into marriage based on him becoming of age (presumably 18) with his recent birthday and must now take a princess' hand in marriage, but Eric refuses because he says that he hasn't found the right girl yet, one that he loves and wants to marry.
By the time of Eric's and Ariel's marriage, Grimsby has now become more of a royal advisor to the kingdom's court, similar to a butler.
