Frederick Charles Krueger, or publicly better known as Freddy Krueger, is a serial killer and the titular main antagonist of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, and the crossover film Freddy vs Jason. He was a child killer in life, and in death, a malevolent dream demon who killed his victims in their dreams, often by torturing them to death.
