Ichigo Kurosaki is the main character and a Substitute Shinigami in the Bleach manga, anime, and movies. His unique heritage as a human, Soul Reaper, Quincy, and part Hollow makes him one of the strongest characters in the series. Ichigo gains Soul Reaper powers after meeting Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper assigned to patrol his hometown of Karakura Town. His lineage allows him to access Soul Reaper, Quincy, and Hollow energy.
