Pachacamac (パチャカマ Pachakama) is a fictional character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He was an anthropomorphic echidna and the father of Tikal, who served as the chief and warlord of the Knuckles Clan approximately 3,000 years ago. When Pachacamac became chieftain of his clan, he led his people into a series of successful wars to expand the Knuckles Clan's empire. To further his warmongering, Pachacamac orchestrated an attack on the Altar of Emerald, but ended up invoking the wrath of Chaos, who killed him and nearly wiped out the Knuckles Clan.
