Umemiya Ryunosuke (梅宮 竜之介 Umemiya Ryūnosuke), usually called "Wooden Sword" Ryu (木刀の竜 Bokutō no Ryū), is a fictional character in the Shaman King manga and anime series. He led a gang of delinquents in Funbari Hill,[1] but after Tokageroh possessed him, he awoke his shamanic abilities[7] and later trained with the Asakura Family.[8] He participated in the Shaman Fight as a member of Asakura Yoh's Team "Funbari Onsen".[9]
After the tournament, Ryu was made the head chef of the Funbari Onsen.[10]
