In the live-action/CGI-animated hybrid dark and gritty reboot of "Angry Birds", which is the elements of the "Planet of the Apes" franchise and Downfall (2004) meets the intense action-packed critically acclaimed Predators (2010) and Lightyear (2022), was directed by Wes Ball, the legendary filmmaker director of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) and the Maze Runner film franchise.
