A camp fire ghost story on stage, “Wendigo” tells of four lifelong friends who as boys were taken by their fathers up the Windgoes Mountain for a yearly hunting trip. Now as men and back together, they once again go up the mountain continuing to honor the traditions they were taught relaxing from the daunting stresses of their day to day lives. Unlike past trips though, a new force is stalking through the woods something hunting, something hungry, and something evil, The Wendigo. A creature of Native American lore that feast upon the flesh of all those damned to come across it; is this beast a protector of nature or this monster a harbinger of death. A fun weekend of booze, bullets, and buddies turns into a bloody nightmare as the four friends fight for survival against a demonic being they believed to be the thing of myths and legends. Trapped with no help coming and tensions raising each must bound together or none of them will make it down the mountain alive, because for where the wind blows, The Wendigo goes. This casting is who would work for as film adaption of the play.
