Having just turned 18 and as a result being trusted to stay home for the weekend David faces one thing standing between himself and a profession to crush Piper, his brother Eric. Realizing Eric has no intent of respecting David or his boundaries David decides to take him out for a drive in his dad's car, only to hit the mysterious Willa. Once things get settled a hospital is ruled out for one reason: Willa is a werewolf. With the full moon days away David decides to let Willa stay over until his parents arrive, and a bizarre bond, threatened only by Willa's disgruntled ex Trent, blooms.
