Tommy Lee Jones (born September 15, 1946) is an American actor and film director. He has received four Academy Award nominations, winning Best Supporting Actor for his performance as U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard in the 1993 thriller film The Fugitive. His other notable starring roles include Texas Ranger Woodrow F. Call in the television miniseries Lonesome Dove, Agent K in the Men in Black film series, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell in No Country for Old Men, Hank Deerfield in In the Valley of Elah, the villain Two-Face in Batman Forever, Mike Roark in the disaster film Volcano, terrorist William "Bill" Strannix in Under Siege, Texas Ranger Roland Sharp in Man of the House, rancher Pete Perkins in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (which he also directed), Colonel Chester Phillips in Captain America: The First Avenger, CIA Director Robert Dewey in Jason Bourne, and Warden Dwight McClusky in Natural Born Killers. He most recently appeared in the science fiction film Ad Astra in 2019 and in the comedy The Comeback Trail in 2020. Eccentric scientist Captain Neweyes uses his time traveling spaceship to take 4 dinosaurs out of their time zone, that being the kind T. rex Rex, the gluttonous triceratops Woog, the elegant pterodactyl Elsa, and the dim Parasaurolophus Dweeb. Neweyes uses his brand of cereal “Brain Grain” to enhance the dinosaurs, and them harmless and friendly. Neweyes explains he did this because by using his drones that detect sounds, paticularly wishes, he has heard children wishing that they want to see dinosaurs again. He then explains he’s going to drop the dinosaurs off in New York so that they can go to the Museum of Natural History. Before Neweyes can contact the authorities, or educate the dinosaurs on earth customs, his dopey alien assistant Vorb accidentally drops the 4 dinosaurs into New York! Luckily, the dinosaurs bump into Louie and Cecilia, a boy and a girl who have both run away from home to join the circus. The dinosaurs agree to help the kids find the circus on their way to the museum. Unfortunately, the circus they find is run by Neweyes’ insane and evil brother, Professor Screweyes. He puts Louie and Cecilia under contract, and will only rip up said contract if the dinosaurs take his patented “Brain Drain”, and return back to their primitive ways so he can use them in his show. Note: The story is being told by the dinosaurs to a runaway bird named Buster in a flashback framing device.
