An engine had broken down and all of the boys and girls on the other side of the mountain won't be having any toys to play with and good food to eat. Unless any one another engine would help them. Later, a little engine came to help the others to take the special train over the mountain and saying the motto (I think I can, I think I can) while on the way to the other side of the mountain.
