Four million years ago, the Autobots and Decepticons have been at war for millions of years, and now realize their planet Cybertron is running low on Energon. A small group of Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, went on a desperate mission to go to Earth to establish a base for their faction. But Megatron caught wind of their plan and ambushed their ship the Ark with his own posse! In an asteroid field, both factions have crash-landed on Earth, and had remained in stasis mode until the year 2024 when lightning struck the ship they were on and awoken the Decepticons.
