Grover, also known as Super Grover and Grover Monster, is a muppet character on the popular television show Sesame Street. Self-described as lovable, cute and furry, he is a blue monster who rarely uses contractions when he speaks or sings.
A reworking of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale in which Matthew and his friends take to the high seas in search of buried treasure. Young Jim Hawkins is given a treasure map by a mysterious sailor and sets sail with his friends Telly Monster and Oscar the Grouch. Among the crew is the mutinous sea dog Long John Silver, who has his own plans for the loot.
