Barry Lee Pearl (born March 29, 1950, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is an American character actor. He is best known for his role as "Doody", one of the three supporting T-Birds, in the 1978 film version of Grease.
A reworking of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale in which Matthew and his friends take to the high seas in search of buried treasure. Young Jim Hawkins is given a treasure map by a mysterious sailor and sets sail with his friends Telly Monster and Oscar the Grouch. Among the crew is the mutinous sea dog Long John Silver, who has his own plans for the loot.
