In a mission waller and other agents who she has created bonds with and a childhood friend was ambushed. She and her team seemingly was turned on by two of the members john lynch, and James Bronson. Lynch used bronson to test the meta-gene possibilities in order to create his own "Superman". He turned member Bronson into the powerhouse Majestic whose instability threatened the entire world.The team defeated bronson but at the cost of everyone but waller. Waller then grew within within and outside of the government she married her high school sweetheart and has 3 kids. later on her husband and 2 of her kids were murdered. Amanda then became more ruthless she then started Task force X. we cut back to post "PeaceMaker". Still burdened the tragedy in her family she continued to look into their murders. They are traced back to john lynch who blamed waller. She must stop john lynch who is also a high ranking government official
