Kayentasuchus was a small, slender-limbed, basal crocodylomorph (a relative of modern crocodiles) that lived in what is now Arizona during the Early Jurassic period. Known from a single, fragmentary skeleton, it had a tall, narrow snout, a curved lower jaw, and bony scutes on its back and belly. Kayentasuchus was a carnivore, likely preying on small animals, fish, or insects in the tropical floodplain environment of the Kayenta Formation.
