In a distant corner of the universe, a ruthless empire led by the tyrannical Emperor Zarkon wages war across the stars, conquering planets and enslaving civilizations in its path. As hope fades, an ancient legend resurfaces—of a powerful guardian formed by five mechanical lions, hidden for centuries and waiting for new pilots. On Earth, a group of unlikely young recruits—Keith, a disciplined but conflicted leader; Lance, a fearless and arrogant hotshot; Hunk, a loyal powerhouse with heart; Pidge, a brilliant young tech prodigy; and Sven, a noble warrior bound by duty—are brought together under the guidance of Princess Allura, the last royal of a fallen world. Transported across the galaxy, the team discovers the legendary lions and their ability to combine into Voltron, a colossal warrior capable of challenging Zarkon’s forces. But power alone isn’t enough. Divided by ego, grief, and mistrust, the pilots struggle to unite as a team while the enemy closes in. As Zarkon launches a devastating assault on the last free planets, the pilots must overcome their differences and embrace the bond that connects them. Only by fighting as one can they unlock Voltron’s true power—and stand as the universe’s final line of defense. In a battle that will decide the fate of the galaxy, five pilots must become one legend.
