Yutaka Hoshino, also known as Peco, is one of the main protagonist of the Ping Pong anime and manga. Peco is Smile's childhood friend. He is a happy-go-lucky and flamboyant student who regularly skips class to go play ping pong. There's also the chance he'll skip practice with the team.
