Leon Thomas III was born in Brooklyn, New York, but moved to Los Angeles, California, and now resides there. At age 10 he made his Broadway debut in 2003 as Young Simba in the Broadway production of The Lion King (1994). In 2004, he appeared as Jackie Thibodeaux in the original Broadway cast of Tony Kushner's "Caroline, or Change." He also toured with the company during its five-month run in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Thomas also performed in the Broadway production of the musical version of Alice Walker's The Color Purple (1985). In 2007, he appeared alongside Robin Williams and Terrence Howard in the film August Rush (2007) as Arthur, in which he performed the song "La Bamba," and he was the singing voice of Tyrone in The Backyardigans (2004). Thomas has also guest-starred on Jack's Big Music Show (2005) and Just Jordan (2007). He also appeared as Harper in the iCarly (2007) episode "iCarly Saves TV" and was featured on The Naked Brothers Band (2007) Christmas special. He is a main character on Victorious (2010), in the role of André, which premiered on Nickelodeon on March 27, 2010.

Tori and her friends are prepare to attend a event at Hollywood Arts. The game they participate in a fun tournament in the school. Beck try to calm Jade down. The arrive of soccer players creates great excitement at the school. While Tori and Cat try to meet the soccer players and realize that people, Robbie accidentally angers Pepe, but turns out to be a very entertaining person. Meanwhile, Balotelli gets into a rivalry with Andre, and Ronaldo annoys Trina with his jokes. Hollywood Arts play against soccer players. In the first half, Buffon's saves and Lahm's defense left Hollywood Arts helpless. While trying not to take the game seriously, Jade accidentally trips Balotelli on the field, and this scene increases the tempo of the game. Rex confuses Robbie and makes him score the own goal. Xavi and Kroos amaze Hollywood Arts with perfect passes on the pitch. In the second half, Hollywood Arts unexpectedly decides to change tactics. Beck's plans allow everyone to play to their unique abilities. Tori's cheerful singing surprises the opposing team, and Cat's absent movement distract Ronaldo. A fight ensues between Pepe and Jade, but in the end they both laugh and shake hands on the field. Andre establishes a friendship with Balotelli by intrested him with his musical talent. Van Persie's skill combined with Robbie's funny defensive mistakes adds excitement to the match. The match ends in a friendly draw and the players praise Hollywood Arts for playing with great determination.
