Former reporter and now homeless man, Eddie Brock is host to an alien symbiote that transforms him into a monster with special powers, an ability he uses to act as a crime fighter. He starts to use his powers to help a community of beggars that is being pursued by a megalomaniac businessman, who intends to create an evil clone of him.
