Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. (born October 20, 1971), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Doggy Dogg), is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. Rooted in West Coast hip-hop, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential rappers of all time. Known for his signature drawled lyrics—which often use melodic rhyming, repetition, wordplay, laconic phrases, syncopation and alliteration—his music frequently addresses the lifestyle and culture of the West Coast and social issues such as gun violence and stability for the youth. His initial fame dates back to 1992, following his guest appearance on Dr. Dre's debut solo single, "Deep Cover", and later on Dre's debut album, The Chronic, that same year. Snoop Dogg has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide. Gabriel Van Helsing is on a vampire case, lost in the depths of Thailand, which reminds him of a very old story from his childhood, the first time he faced death. In the early 1990s, when Gabriel was a young boy, he was in love with a girl his own age, Anna Valerious, a member of another prominent family of monster hunters. One evening, against his mother's wishes, he's taken by his mentor, Leroy Jackson, to a private party for his community, held in a disinfected warehouse, to attend a concert in which young Anna is performing. Gabriel discovers that some are capable of singing a song that comes from their very core, capable of piercing the shroud of death, but also capable of stirring up evil.
