The Megalon (メガロ Megaro?) of the AniGoji continuity is a giant beetle-like kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse, before returning in the sequel novel, Godzilla: Project Mechagodzilla.
With the use of the ORCA device and further exploration of the Hollow Earth, a new symbiosis has been created with the Titans. However, something wishes to destroy the natural order and threatens to cause the extinction of everything on Earth.
